On writing

Any of us who write (and there are so many of us) stumble upon the dreaded "block", which gives me an excuse to write poorly on my blog, I suppose. When writing a book, as I am, I find that it's not necessarily cathartic to bring up painful memories, although the end result is that of guiding, teaching, giving hope. I've been told that sometimes, we need things to feel worse in order to get better and I can only hope that's true. So, on this gorgeous day, I may choose to indulge in a popsicle or two, allowing my keyboard to get all sticky, ergo, a reason not to write! Here's to all the writers out there looking for that sneaky damsel, inspiration.
