RAINN launched its new website this week and I urge you to visit if you are a survivor, a friend or family member to a survivor or someone who wants to help. In addition to updated content, streamlined navigation, and a more organized layout, rainn.org has added many ways in which users can get in touch with their local rape crisis centers and get involved in the fight against sexual assault. Remember: SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS MONTH IS COMING IN APRIL.
There are many opportunities and resources on the website for those who have been assaulted, those who wish to raise money, those who wish to help by sharing their stories and volunteering. Please pay a visit to the most groundbreaking organization ever to address sexual assault in men, women and children. Too bad it must exist.
