Clearly, this woman is deranged (allegedly). In addition to her alleged rape and murder of Sandra Cantu, Huckaby has now been charged (as we thought) with the drugging/poisoning of two others, one a minor child.
I often wonder if the new victims would not have come forward had she not been indicted on the Cantu murder. Would she have continued her deadly spree? Are there more?
This is a vile, twisted case. What troubles me most is the fact that Huckaby herself is a mother and by many accounts, a good one. What is her motivation? What is her mental illness? Certainly, there are female sexual predators and that's not what confuses me.

I get very confused too. I have no answer except that female predators are out there. I don't know what to say except that I think there is a society thing that only men can do this- that somehow, if you are male, and you molest little boys, while unacceptable, it is more tolarated by our society.
I guess it is harder to accept that women can be guility of such atrocities- be it sexual or violance related- Susan smith comes to mind, and in my view, they let her off too darn easy- as well as Mary Kay Literuno.

to state the obvious: huckaby is obviously a sick sociopath--er, make than an *evil* sociopath, and whatever mental illness she may suffer from in no way absolves her of any responsibility for her sick actions.
