I have long ranted about Craigslist being a haven for criminals (and furniture and babysitters), but it's time for the government to step in.
This man arranged for the rape of his own wife on Craigslist WHILE HE WATCHED AND HIS CHILDREN WERE IN THE HOUSE. I never use the "f" word on my blog, but what the fuck is wrong with humanity today?
Read and comment please. My heart is broken. I would also like to appeal to the media to use responsible wording in their reports on rape. She will suffer lifelong injuries of the soul and psyche due to this crime. By minimizing the language because she didn't have, say, obvious lacerations and bruises, you perpetuate the stereotype that rape is not deadly or injurious to victims. You only want to report it properly when the victim is a bloody pulp. Come on, now.
UPDATE: The husband says the wife approved of it and wanted it. Yeah, right. Have we learned nothing about Craigslist?

you're use of "fuck" is totally appropriate! (the word doesn't bother me anyway)
and i hope in turn it's okay for me to use it as well: this husband is one deranged motherfucker, to say the least!
and i agree: just becuz the woman didn't suffer any physical harm doesn't change the fact that she was raped! rape is rape! in fact, under the law, rape is considered an "inherently dangerous felony", meaning that if a woman dies during the course of the rape, or becuz of it, the rapist can be charged with fist degree murder under what's known as the "felony murder rule"!
i also agree with you that craigslist itself should be investigated!
the wife consented to it? what bullshit!
