Seriously, I am one of those people who can be obsessed on a rainy afternoon with those Lifetime movies about women who steal babies - oh Lord, there was a campy one with Kate Jackson and her son stealing babies from the hospital - it was the worst. Movie. Ever. Yet, couldn't stop watching it. Not to mention the classic revenge of the baby-stealer, "Hand That Rocks The Cradle"...Rebecca DeMornay - how much do I love her? How much did I want to slap some sense into Annabella Sciorra?
Nowadays, though, there are so many creepy stories about pregnant women being stalked by some sick ticket who comes by, pretend to have her "lost mail" and murders her.
Paranoia, I know, but what is up with this trend of murders of pregnant women by other women who want to steal the babies?
Congratulations! Ava must be so excited and I am so glad everything is coming along so well.
I bet your husband is thrilled. I don't know what is up with all the baby stealing and murders of expectant mothers. I guess some women who can't conceive are desprate and resort to drastic measures. The ones who are murdered like Laci Peterson and the other woman a few years back in Utah- I think it's a matter of the husbands or boyfriends not wanting to deal with the responsibility.
But I can tell you this- I abesolutely even though many of their movies are just terrible, LOVE watching lifetime movies. You aren't the only one... I call it the Man hater channel. Watch away. Some of the movies are so awful, they are quite entertaining.
Trust me - guys watch as much as we do. And many of the stories they now put on there are actually about flawed women. It's hilarious. The campy ones are the best. I know they're trying to make the fare more highbrow, but a good cheesy LMN movie does chase the blues away!
That was my old roommates nickname for the channel in college. If it was raining or we were broke, we'd get some microwave popcorn and watch it all night. They did the Alex Kelly and Andrew Luster movies which I actually thought were pretty good compared to some of the older "cheesy" ones.
