Beebe's early release even earlier - UPDATE

William Nottingham Beebe will be released from the Albemarle-Charlottesville County Jail this Friday, September 14 in the morning, just short of six months after beginning his sentence for felony aggravated sexual battery. His original release date was September 17, but probation agreed to give him more "good time" for the time he spent in the Las Vegas jail upon his arrest in January 2006.

He will make his home is Chesterfield, Virginia, not in Florida as the sex offender registry reflects.

UPDATE: Department of Corrections is saying Thursday. I think I'll call the jail.
UPDATE: The jail says Mr. Beebe will be released Thursday at 8 am.

Liz,

Are you supposed to be notified of Beebe's residences from now on?

I am supposed to be, but sometimes that doesn't work out and folks on probation move about without alerting the system properly, which is why these restraining orders sometimes fail. He is to update his offender status - right now it has him listed on the Florida registry, but I was told today he plans to live in Chesterfield, Va. Frequently, violent crime victims really don't have any idea what their perp is up to. It's a bit of a flaw in the system.
