In order to make his point about mandating minimum sentencing guidelines for child rapists, Massachusetts Rep. James Fagan (D) goes on this disgusting rant on how he would have to defend the accused. My kudos to Jessica Lunsford's father for his well-spoken commentary. He has become an amazing advocate for children in the wake of his hearbreak.
Where to begin here? America would appreciate some well-placed emails and calls to the legislature. Most folks who read this blog care about children. Please, use your voice! I am supposed to understand why this point was made, but I cannot. The boundaries have been overstepped by this so-called "lawmaker".

I don't watch Dan's new show - much as I enjoy his outrage and wit. So much better than the other talking heads and I had a nice time on his show. Hopefully, he'll have me on.
How was the segment? Was Fagan live? Did he explain why he thought his incendiary words were necessary? I think he overstepped. Far.
liz,
yes, fagan was on live, but i missed the segment!
btw, initially, i didn't like dan on his first show, the one that you were on, as i found him to be somewhat obnoxious and off-putting! but he's an acquired taste, and i like him now! he's my second-favorite talking head on msnbc after keith olbermann! but what i like about dan the most is that he's fair-minded in that he provides a balance and diversity of views on his show, which is something that not even keith olbermann does!
that would be so cool if you were on his show again!
