I wish Uma Thurman nothing but peace and happiness for her and her young children, following the conviction of her stalker. Now, it seems she will have anything but. Don't try to even suggest it's right that this guy is in New York. Someone should really follow up on this before the consequences are dire. I like his quote where he basically blames her for not telling him to stop.

poor, lovely uma has every reason to be upset, becuz the potential for tragedy is very real!
i don't know if you're familiar with actress theresa saldana: she was repeatedly stabbed by a deranged stalker in 1982, and, fortunately, survived! in fact, in 1984, she even starred in a movie about the attack in which she played herself! she later co-starred as the wife in the abc series The Commish!
and then there was the tragic case of actress rebecca schaffer, who was shot to death by a deranged stalker in 1989! rebecca had co-starred in the cbs sitcom My Sister Sam!
bottom line: stalker should definitely be taken very seriously!

I remember both of those cases so very clearly - I know that Ms. Saldana is now happy and healthy. Not the same could be said for Ms. Schaffer - I remember them like yesterday.
It also calls to mind the tragic attack of Marla Hanson in New York, whose complaints went unheeded until her stalker slashed her (model) face. So horrific.
I hope Ms. Thurman and Mr. Busson (her BF) have a great security detail and that those children are protected. There's nothing "diva" about it. She needs it.

here's an update on uma: it's been reported that she's engaged to multi-millionaire swiss financier arpad busson! it will be her third marriage!
i hope she finds happiness with this upcoming marriage!

Yep, Arki Busson is a catch. She found love for many years with hotelier Andre Balazs. Arki is known for having children with supermodel Elle MacPherson. I wish Uma all the best! (and Ethan is having a child with their former nanny - oy!)
