This is too heartbreaking for words and I urge you to read it and not be scared by it, but to be aware and to know it happens - very frequently in cases where the perp is someone trusted by children. Because of cases like this, I won't stop standing up for the vics, I won't be intimidated by those suggesting that victims are lying, that rape "isn't that bad", that we should give these people another chance, that those who have it done to them should "get over it". These are basic human dignities being violated and I want to know that these children will, one day, be safe and grow to live full lives. That is my sincerest hope and wish.
If you don't want to click the link about Bennie Williams, know that he enjoyed watching videos of children crying while being brutally raped. Is that what it takes? Proof on video? My heart aches for these innocents. May Mr. Williams have appropriate sentencing when he comes to trial. Nothing more or less. However, that he only faces 2 to 10 years is frightening.
