I feel like apologizing for focusing on these details, but this mom, Renee Woody, seems to be in serious denial. My life would be over if the neighbor boy, who was "like family" raped and murdered my little one. She needs to know it's far from over and her "moving away" is the least of her issues.
Wouldn't it be refreshing if someone were to ever come out and say, "Yes, he was a bad seed; we saw it coming" instead of "he was quiet", "he was such a good kid", etc., ad nauseum.
